Hmm a few questions i had came up on the little things of that night.
First off! investigating the plot to find out all the fun little details that it was decided was better to leave for the people who wanted to put effort into finding out. How would you like an action with that purpose (finding some of the "really awesome" stuff out) to be sent in?
Second, Did the morality/embodiment shift/trauma only happen to us that were in close proximity to the gate? or every fallen in the city? and on a curious note. What happened to the non fallen? the human population? do they start acting even a little weird? or is only those of a celestial nature that got messed up.
Third.. what did that gate look like anyway? I never did remember to ask that one. Was it a big shiny thing? or maybe just a distorted view of the land behind it? or could we actually 'see' into heaven through the gate? (not with the symphony, but actually with ones eyes is more the idea of this question).

3rd question: I think it was a sedan.

Yes. The Gates of Heaven are actually a 2001 Sangria red Ford Focus with PNGUIN plates. You know, I've heard that before, from several men, but never really believed it.
Re) investigations: The way this works is that the longer you wait between the time stuff happened and the time you Investigate it, the more difficult it is. So Currently, the Difficulty for Investigating the bits of plot you want to know more about is 5. Next month, it will be 8. The following month, it will be 15, and the month after that, you will have to take a Research action at Difficulty 5 (then 8, then 15).
Re) The weirdness. I'll be writing up some stuff about that soon. The short answer is the entire city was in bedlam. Also, the entire city is now predominated to an Envious Slum. That doesn't seem to be going away as fast as your Embodiment switchies.

Re: The night of the 27th
...embodiment switches... I think a word from the Storyteller to those players who were unable to make the game would be appreciated.
On second though, a word likely isn't enough. I hereby up my request to words... preferably on topic...

Re: The night of the 27th
I will be posting a game summary on the blog in the next few days.
The short answer is that at about 11:00pm on Saturday night, all Fallen whose Embodiments were Virtuous felt themselves change to their Opposed Path. All Fallen who were already Sinful dropped a notch down the Morality scale. This also affected the entire city, with record numbers of theft, arson, rape, murder, assault, and any other serious crime you can think of.
