Providence is a LARP game using Trent Yacuk's Kingdom Come system. It is a game of Fallen Angels and their struggle to survive against the forces of Heaven and Hell and some things in between.

Record Keeping

Post by Gabe on Tue 20 Oct 2009 - 22:46

Hey folks, I was seeing the pictures flash by and I was thinking that we should have more pictures of the game. If anyone has cameras that could be loaned to the Storyteller for snapping shots of our evenings, that'd be great. Rumour has it that hers is a bit fickle.

Or maybe people want to carry it around and take "Creeper" photos. I think that if we all know that the camera isn't really there then we can ignore the quick shots that would be taken from time to time.

What think the people?

*The Storyguide has an *Awesome* camera that she has to remember to charge the batteries for before games, which is why the camera is fickle.

If you do NOT want your photograph taken, please let me know privately. Or publicly, I don't care. But I often crawl around on the ground or up on ladders to get cool shots, and if I *know* you're nervous about having your photo taken, I will try to stage the shot accordingly.

Cheers,

I fairly frequently have my camera at games - I just am unsure whether folks are kosher with players taking photos during play or not. Some games seem fine with it, others find it disruptive. If folks here are fine with it, I'll try to snap off a photo on occassion and make such available to folks.

Side note: Would it be possible to get a gallery in addition to or instead of the forum gallery, where maybe we can archive pictures? It looks like as it is the last months' pictures disappear when the new ones go up, right?

I dunno about that. But I will set up a Picasa or Flickr site for Providence and give folks permission to post.

I'm honestly not sure if I'll like it in implementation, but I like the idea of it.

Oh, and J., it's better if I'm not aware that I'm about to be photographed. My face does funny things if I know it's coming.

And Jill! Have you found your camera yet to post the August game photos? I'd love to see them!

The ones currently up are marked as August, I believe.
