(( This is completely random and.. well most of you should have heard me joke about this anyway, but I have decided there shall not be sleep tonight. And i am writing this to entertain myself and you all))
Hey, that guy is a good fighter. Hey, that guy has super fortitude powers to let him protect us.. We should be totally and completely safe with his watching our backs. Right? WRONG!
It seems the people keth has dedicated himself to guarding die in horrible horrible ways.
Exibit A: Little sister, died painfully over a week in a hospital bed fighting for her life.
Exibit B: Jade, Devil/Marius/Rada/What the hell was she on (depending who you ask any or all of these may be correct) killed her. She is dead now. No more shinys for jade.
Exibit C: Sascha, Oh hey it looks like she might need protecting. 1 hour later she jogs off into heaven to spar with god knows how many angels. Yeah.. that worked.
Under the evidence.. I must find Keth guilty of absolute and complete failure to defend anything! Hell it seems that having keth trying to make you not die, in fact causes you to die in a horrible and bloody fashion.
If further evidence is needed take a look at Becca, who, though it wasnt technically Keths fault the one time he tried to save her (silly Keth, trying the impossible) and she also died.
Let this be a lesson to you all..

I still say he should change his tactics in how he decides to protect them - perhaps a metal cage in his basement would better suit the Jade and Sasha types he's decided to take care of. His sister I guess was something beyond his reach but... isolation by force or semi-force might have worked for Jade, and certainly would have for Sasha.
Just sayin'.

Force Jade to sit still? Sorry but we are talking about an epic difficulty here if not impossible. Jade.. yeah.. Keth tried to keep up with her once when she wandered off. That lasted for all of the 10 seconds it took before she decided she wanted to lose him

Im not going to argue the Sasha one, that one would have been comparably simple.
But yet, Keth wont drive himself to that, he is still moral afterall (though As Mike M. once commented "Keth is moral.. he isn't very good at it but he is moral.")
