December

Post by Rada on Tue 28 Oct 2008 - 1:16

As the holiday season is often a very busy time, with people travelling etc., I wanted to double check if the game in December would still be at the same bat time, bat date, and bat location (8pm, dec 27, north broad)?

Obviously Jill being able to be there is the most important single element, but I also figured if there are lots of people who can't make it, this forum is as good a place as any to bring it up early, so alternate plans can be made if nescesary.

It works great for me, and I am planning on being there, but if no one else can make it, it would be good to let Jill know now rather than after people say no to other possible plans for that day.

AFAIK, FRAG will be having its regular Games Day in December. I'll double check with Jim and Trent about it, but I think it's going to go ahead as normal. I have no plans to travel at Christmas this year, and would be more than pleased to run a game instead. This game, in fact.

Personally the odds of myself making it are slim to none. I go home about once a year, and my parents tend to expect me to stay, visit family, fix computers, etc.

But ill see if i can shorten the visit up and make it to the game.

I have to miss the game in November. If there is a December game, very little will keep me away.

We will not be in Saskatoon when the game is on, that's for damn sure.

I'll be there for November, but I'm not so certain about December yet. More at 11?

I'm pretty sure we can make it; I guess it depends how much pressure my family puts on me for that specific night. (Or Paul's family, perhaps, but they get us for Christmas *next* year). For example, if either of my brothers are leaving the next day, it might get touchy... but I'm sure we can plan around it somehow, since we know in advance.

I am most certainly not making it for December, as I'm going to be on the farm for my folks' Wedding Anniversary. Have a good time guys!
